Hey Tom,
As an aspiring comedian myself, along with my other aspirations to make films, I am super excited to see that you're doing a live stand up comedy tour! I've always been a pretty big fan of yours, so to finally get a chance to maybe see you live is awesome. I guess it all depends on if you come to this part of Canada, so hopefully you do some shows in Toronto, Hamilton, and/or other reasonably close towns.
If you do play in a town near me, something I was wondering is... what are the chances that I could get onstage at one of your shows to do a 5-7 minute set?! I know it's a long-shot, but I figured I'd ask. That would be an opportunity of a lifetime for a young up-and-comer like myself. I'll attach a video of my first Yuk Yuk's performance to let you see and decide, or maybe even leave it up to your fans to decide if I'm worthy! aha
Either way, best of luck with the tour and I hope you come to Southern Ontario!!
Cheers,
Patrick

PLEASE please please schedule a date in B'ham, AL, or somewhere closer to it. These people here NEED you, Tom!! And you could get some seriously good footage for your show with these people. It is a different world in AL and allthat you expect it to be! I am not from here so I can be honest.
I want to see you so much so come closer!!
I hope this at least sparked your interest in this town.
Love, Anke
I think I'm going to have my license unsuspended some time close to the Louisville show.Hopefully I'll be legal like prostitution isn't. Cincinnati would have been a better stop on that route but whatever. I can do a two hour drive. I suppose it's better than you exhausting yourself into a coma and violently shaking to death.

Hello to all at the Channel,
I see that eligibility to join the team as an intern is limited to people who already live in L.A., I was curious why that is? I understand you don't want to have to help acclimate a newbie to the city and you probably don't want the added feeling of responsibility if someone relocates from the other side of the country and it doesn't work out but man we are grown ups okay! I would love to join the team, even if to only haul cables back and forth around the living room! If I have reliable transportation, can read a map, can calculate trip time for traffic, am 30 years old and can take care of myself what does it matter if I've just relocated from Seattle? Seriously can someone gat back to me on this one, I would really like to know.
Thnx guys
I'm not into Twilight, American Idol, or Ryan Seacrest. I guess people are easily amused these days.
Hey, watching that crack baby video on your forum. Some hilarious shit you did back then, Tom!! Absolutey classic comedy that will have people laughing for years!
You gained a little weight man... Maybe we can do some 2010 exercise videos.. for the channel.. I think taht would actually be good webovision if you're up to it
Have you signed up to do comedy in vancouver yet?
i would like you to check out
www.myspace.com/perceptionmedia
so you can see my photos write me back man i wanna know what u think

personally i dont' care about seacrest, twilight, nor that other thing you were asking about.
hope you find something worthy to air on the national interwebs than celebrity interviews, actually. it's a bit of a douche thing, leave that for the seacrests of the world.
you'll always be johnny carson to your fans, that's what's really important.
also it snowed here today.
On monday the 16th there was a pretty good sighting over hollywood. i don't know if you have heard anything about it but this guy caught it on his cam. check it out if you want.

I have this plan...
once i'm done with school and stuff here in Estonia, i thought i should fly over there, get an apartment and come join the team. I'm already a pretty experienced video editor and operator, who knows what'll be in a year or two. And as i can see, you're always looking for new recruits...
So what do you say? If you'll be needing new members into the crazy little webovision team in a year or two, is it realistic for me to join "the good cause"?
Lemme know, cheers. (also, long time no speak. hows life treating ya?)
I SENT YOU A LOT OF VIDEOS THAT I HAVE DONE LATLY i wondered your eyes came by them yet ?

Back in the early 90's, I was totally IN the loop. There was an explosion of greatness in music, and in general creativity, in most forms of media. And so, I was totally into it. Back in those days, I would check out award shows from Europe with an odd curiosity. It was fun to be detached and kind of laugh at the absurdity of the whole spectacle. I was like, "THIS is popular over there?!? Whoa...these people have terrible taste. I'm glad I don't live over there."
Unfortunately, that is how I feel about pop culture in America today. I see it now from a detached perspective, and I laugh at it, and I don't give a shit. It sucks that American Pop Culture is so far down the shitter, but thankfully technology has allowed me to take control of my entertainment. And so, I ignore most of it. If something sparks my curiosity, I can easily research it on any number of websites.
"Twilight" is insulting to the well defined and established Vampire mythology. If anyone is mildly curious about this very lame series of romance novels written for teenage girls, spend five minutes skimming the Wikipedia entry:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twilight_(series)
Immortal, 100 year old vampires don't attend high school, they don't fixate on teenage girls, they don't walk around in the day light, and they most certainly do not father children. Vampires are not human. If anyone is interested in a series of books about vampires in the modern world, I recommend Anne Rice's "Vampire Chronicles".
I don't care about Robert Pattison. He seems nice enough, and I saw him interviewed on some late show when the first movie came out. In general, I think that most actors are self-involved and overly pretentious. I don't give a shit about almost all of them, Pattison included.
American Idol was interesting in Season 1, but the novelty wore off quickly for me. It should be obvious that your vote doesn't really count, and that it's just a flashy marketing tool. The whole Sanjaya Saga should've proven this point to anyone paying attention. It didn't, so I stopped paying any attention to it. I don't give a shit about American Idol.
Ryan Seacrest is the physical embodiment of everything that is wrong is the world of pop culture today. The blandest, safest, most robotic, least interesting "personality" ever put in front of the public. And he reads the blandest, safest, least offensive, pre-programmed words I've ever heard. His popularity and success is a sad commentary on where we're at as a society. The "Seacresting" of today's media should be considered an embarrassment.
Hopefully you can make it up here to Minnesota on your tour. Norm was up here recenly at the House of Comedy in the Mall of America. Also, ACME Comedy Club would be a good option.

Hi Tom,
You're doing SIX shows in Nashville? WOW! I just know every show will be sold out. I can't afford to come to them all, but I'll be there when I can.
About the Street Team thing ..... I'd love to hand out and hang up flyers about your show. I'll go down around Vanderbilt University and up and down Music Row and downtown to all the honky tonks and at Centennial Park and ..... how do I get these flyers? Should I just make them myself?
I'm psyched! Can you tell?
Cheers!
Love,
~Jesse~

Hi Tom,
YAY!! for coming to Nashville and YAY!! for coming to Zanies! I suggested that, but you probably forgot. I also promised you a Moon Pie and I'll definitely give you one when I see you.
How cool does it sound to say that! VERY cool!
I might drive up to Louisville and see you there, too, as that's my hometown. Let me give you some advice ... Louisville is pronounced "Loo-A-Vul" or "Lool-Vul" if you really want to fit in.
I'm FINALLY going to get to meet you and you're FINALLY going to get to meet me. I've got to warn you, though, you'll be disappointed. I'm old, fat, and ugly but I'll give you a Moon Pie so it won't be a total lost cause.
Anything I can do for you while you're in Nashville, just let me know.
See you soon!
Love,
~Jesse~

Why don't you tour with Neil Hamburger and Mike Hickey. They had a good show last year when we went.
For Scott from Suffolk UK, who "scoured the net" looking for this.

Anyone got a contact for the Store? Scoured the net and cannot find anything. Post it here if you have a contact so all Tom's fans can send a message to get Tom to England!
Tom,
How can we get you to come to Wichita, KS. We've got a pretty good scene here. Let me know how to get you booked!! Please!
Hey Tom,
When you come to Fairview Heights/St. Louis, would you like to hit up the Anhueser Busch Brewery, the Arch, and other awesome things in St. Louis for your webo-vision?
If you are interested, I can hook you up with whatever you need. Thanks Tom!
craig@thehouseofhoney.com
I know this is your comedy tour but I was wondering if you're planning on doing some of your songs for the masses? Either way it will be a real pleasure to see you perform in person. Long time fan first time writer.
bdr
No, Tom. No one cares about twilight or american idol or whatever they're doing to sell more pepsi/ipods/nike/anyfuckinguselessthing these days.
IMHO more Jodorowsky and less Seacrest is what we need.
Also, how ironic is it that you built a brickwall in your livingroom and now that youre actually doing standup youre just saying 'come to the shows, it won't be on the channel'?

start your tour off right . . with a kick off party. i dont know. . just looking for an excuse to have a party i guess. i dont know if its in the budget but maybe SGL could play for a lil cross promotion action when theyre touring in so cal? plug some dates.. theyre big fans of the show/i said that id forward some info your way. .there it is.
check out their site :

thanks dude. :)

TOM! While you are in the Chicago area, venture just a bit further and you should come up to Grand Rapids, MI, finest comedy club - DR. Grins! (thebob.com/drgrins) Already emailed Lou Moratti (the GM) to book you. We need you here!! Come to Michigan! Even your good friend Paulie Shore was up here a couple years ago!

Thanks so much for posting my puppet show your the greatest Tom.

Man I am so pumped you are going to be within 6 hours of me I will forsure be there man. Are the chances good I'll actually get to meet the TOM GREEN himself!?!?

So it looks like Tom is finding sucsess with his stand up and has recently released his World Stand Up Comedy Tour Poster and requested that if we would like to see him, we should get in touch with our local venues.
My sugestion is that we co-ordinate our efforts here in the UK to gaurentee we get to see him LIVE!
Tom would like to visit The Comedy Store in London :- http://www.thecomedystore.co.uk/index.php
So if you would like to come along drop me a line @ daymobrown@googlemail.com and we can plan our attack!
Intern...
The whole vampire thing hasn't arrived in our beautiful country yet, but I now there's something going on in the U.S.A cos I watch the latenight shows.
But am I going to pay attention to it. No because I hate vampires, i'm more of a Frankenstein's monster guy.
Oh... the old rivalry between Frankenstein and Dracula. Are they going to make a new show of young sexy Frankenstein who's going to make your daughters wet their pants.
Now that would be ridiculous!! Not in a good way!!
Yes I still follow the mainstream in a hope that something good comes up. Nothing good hasn't come up in a long time
Shit I just realise that we have all the Idols and Big brother thing going on. We have been Americanised!!!!!!! THE scearming and the WHOOS and all that crap you see in AMerican tv is present here. WE didn't have that before and now we are SCREAMING about everything. WHOOO WHOO FUCKING WHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
How the fuck did The BIg BAng Theory get an award for their show. It's not funny the dialogue is bad, the characters are unimaginative and boring, but then again awards don't mean shit!! They can toss them to any piece of crap they want.
Maybe I should calm down and go watch some good old Peter Jackson. Haven't watch Bad Taste in a long time, that always cheers me up.
Byee!!!
Hi,
Maybe you could get street teams for some areas and a few weeks prior to your gigs, these people could print off some posters and hang them up some places like maybe independent record shops and pubs. I would do that man.
tom, i talked to a few south florida venues and they said they would be contacting your people about doing shows. the venues are good, andy dick was down here a while ago as a matter of fact. south florida....please come hang and film some stuff around here. i'm getting everyone to come out to the shows!
Have Fun Forever!
I didn't know Christian Bale was British until I saw him in an interview a few months ago with the accent and everything,I had even seen him in Empire of the Sun and didn't realize it was the same person. PS,There aren't any pure comedy clubs in Gainesville,Fl but there are plenty of venues (Common Grounds) for example is a large music and whatever venue in which i've seen comedy sketches from the likes of local comedian Tom Miller. It would be amazing if you came here, that first place you have booked for Florida looks like a retirement community.

i know i dont give shit about that stuff tom
What digital camera did you use for your nyc extra footage when you shot in your hotel room?
Alright Tom, I've had a subscription for 2 months now and I've not seen ONE SHOW live. What gives? I'll admit I haven't gone in depth to read much. Maybe it's the comedy tour? What is your airing schedule my man?! I wanna participate and I'm a fan. I'm even on the SKYPE TEAM! Heeeyooh!
Thank you Johny Jines for batting for me, that's really sweet, but everyone is right. I know how to do some things and I am a fast learner but I would not call myself a webmaster or an expert by any means. I just love Tom Green and wanted to work for him, which is probably not a very good reason. :) So no need to campaign for me, although it is appreciated! I know that Tom will assemble an awesome team. :)
I didn't know he was British either, you're right he is in everyones face. It's interesting that you mention feeling out of the loop in regards to mainstream pop stuff, because I've discovered a certain niche your website and yourself has created here. I visit your stuff to escape the mainstream in general, and I personally wouldn't have it any other way. So make some more videos and let's all forget about that shitty vampire movie :)
It's not that I don't care, I am ambivalent. I neither care nor don't care. I care a lot about all the things I do...and I do a lot of things so I care a lot, but trying to stay positive is something I do care about so in saying that, I haven't got time to not care about all that crap cuz I am too busy caring about all the other cool stuff that you and I and so many other cool people do...cuz we do a lot of cool shit...happy happy day...

No Tom, We really don't dont give a shit...But thanks for the post, we feel in the loop now...hahaha
ps we got a new dog, don't know his name yet
I don't give a crap about Twilight.
That said, it will be playing at my movie theater next week, so it may be tempting to just sit in and watch it during down time at work. But it just sounds so lame that I'm going to try to keep myself busy. I mean, Tom, Vampires aren't supposed to SPARKLE in sunshine. They're supposed to burn. In Twilight, they sparkle. How lame is that!?
-Max
Hey Tom,
I just emailed the Box Office Manager and the Assistant Manager at Cobbs Comedy Club in SF. I will also give them a ring first thing tomorrow morning.
