TATTOOED MILLIONAIRES' VIP PRE-TOUR PARTY

April 20, 2008 | 08:24 PM by Trinity, Los Angeles, California!

This Friday, April 25th, at the historical Whisky A Go-Go in Hollywood, a completely independent band called the Tattooed Millionaires will be headlining the venue for the first time ever. The band has been completely independent since its birth and already they have been officially declared celebrities in Sin City -- Las Vegas, Nevada. They shared the black carpet with many other celebrities at the Vegas grand opening for Starlight Tattoo, the tattoo and piercing venue that is brainchild of Mario Barth, tattoo artist to stars such as Tommy Lee (with whom he recently made history with as the first in-flight tattoo ever inked), Nikki Sixx, Jamar Taylor, Angela Simmons, Ja Rule, and My Chemical Romance.

The band is especially proud to be headlining the Whisky in their hometown of Los Angeles and they are inviting everyone to be a part of this historical night for them. They would greatly appreciate it and be honored if you would attend the show, as you are a member of the tattoo and piercing community! In addition, Tuesday night, they're hosting a VIP pre-tour party at Voodoo Hollywood at the Vine Bar, and they would love for you to be on the VIP guest list as well! A live streaming of the party will be covered on Stickam.com by Life in the Fast Lane, who will be interviewing guests, running contests, and giving their advice and opinions on sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll.

Please R.S.V.P. to me if you would attend as soon as possible! Thank you for your time and we hope to see you at the party and show!

Attached is a picture of the band. :)

Sincerely,

Trinity

I really hope you come North, but wherever you go drive safe & no hitch hikers (definately) in Southern Idaho. Have you driven an RV before?

Reasons 7&8

April 20, 2008 | 06:23 PM by MelissaD, Indianapolis

Hi Tom!
Minister Derek has completed two more videos from our tapings. Reason 7 shows a bit of the Indy art scene and Reason 8 shows off fans of our Indianapolis Colts. It's more amusing than I'm describing it, so check them out at www.youtube.com/tomgreenindy :)
We hope you'll make a stop in our city! It'll be a great time! Oh, here's a pic of my grandma and I, drinking margaritas..proving that I can convince senior citizens to party, and I can show you guys a good time too! Woo hoo! :)

Packing for the road

April 20, 2008 | 05:05 PM by DepuTV John the Audioarchivist aka Rick Carville, Denman island, British Columbia, Canada

Right on, man. This is exciting. It's cool to see technology used in new ways. I don't think anyone has done anyhing quite like this before, especially without some ginormous corporate whoring going on as well. Good for you to do it your way and do it yourselves and basically invent something new along the way. Investing in yourself. Excellent! I hope it all REALLY works like you want it to!
I'm still growing the beard. Slow steady work, this facial hair cultivation! I am more than ready to transform myself from Rick Rubin to James Carville! I'm just waiting for the where's when's and how's to be answered....
I hope WE all can figure something out!
Here's a preview of what I look like under this face shrub - me from about half a lifetime ago, as a ticket-taker at Expo 86. I let Michael J Fox into Expo. Man he was short!
Have a nice day!

cool!

The Road Trip is going to be awesome!

April 20, 2008 | 01:47 PM by Scott, Suffolk, UK.

......but I'm sure you already know that. It seems to me that Middle America is a hotspot for colourful characters. In my village there is a lady who carries a bucket around in a pushchair, with a face painted on it, instead of a real baby! I would get footage, but she also carries around an axe that she uses to threaten the Postmistress on pension day.
Anyway, just showing my enthusiasm for the upcoming trip!

Thanks Scott! We love middle america! We are heading straight towards the core. Stay tuned.
Your Good Name

April 20, 2008 | 11:56 AM by Daniel The Downsizer, Bend, OR

Tom - I just realized the custody hearings for those crazy polygamous zealots who knocked up all of their teenagers, also known as the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, are taking place at the Tom Green County Courthouse in San Angelo, Texas.

Tom, this your most brilliant marketing maneuver yet! Talk about branding. You could have bought the naming rights to a stadium during the NBA Playoffs, but procuring the name of the courthouse in this Big Love-type drama was a true coup!

Tom, how do you do it day in and day out? What ever is your secret for continually mining such resourceful gems? The pop-up ads were one thing, but the Tom Green County Courthouse? Your brilliance boggles the mind!

Tom Green County Texas! I have stood on those courthouse steps!
COME VISIT SWEDEN!

April 20, 2008 | 10:57 AM by Martin The Horny Dog, Sweden

Hey Tom, You should visit Sweden sometime! I noticed that you have a lot of Swedish material thingy (whatever), You sang about it in "Teachers Suck" and "Lonely Swedish (The bum bum song)" and you have also called Sweden many times during your show! So it would be cool if you'd actually visit us here! See you & fucking keep the shit up!

By the way, We have hot babes here in Sweden, just look at my picture! // Martin!

Might Be Cool.

April 20, 2008 | 10:31 AM by Zoey, Chicago

I'm sure it annoys you when people suggest who you should have on your show, so, sorry about this: Seth MacFarlane.

April 20, 2008 | 09:10 AM by Krystal, PostFalls, Idaho

You should come to PostFalls Idaho and do a web show from my home! We live between Spokane Washington and Coure'd'Alene Idaho. It would be a beautiful spot out in the country. We could have a bbq and all. I have pasture and A large yard. I have an average size house. E-mail me and let me know. My teenagers would be so exited to have you come to our home.

Canon HV20 vs Canon HV30

April 20, 2008 | 08:51 AM by Julien S., Toronto, living in Ottawa

Hey Tom, I noticed you guys got the new HV30. I can only afford to buy one or the other, which do you think has performed better for you thus far?

Thanks.

P.S. It's spring in Ottawa!

It is basically the same camera. One is a different color.
see ya out there Tom!

April 20, 2008 | 08:18 AM by The Littlest Hobo, no fixed address

THERE'S A VOICE,
THAT KEEPS ON CALLING ME.
DOWN THE ROAD,
IS WHERE I'LL ALWAYS BE.
EVERY STOP I MAKE,
I'LL MAKE A NEW FRIEND.
CAN'T STAY FOR LONG, JUST TURN AROUND AND I'M GONE AGAIN.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANNA SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON

DOWN THIS ROAD, THAT NEVER SEEMS TO END,
WHERE NEW ADVENTURE, LIES JUST AROUND THE BEND

SO IF YOU WANNA JOIN ME FOR A WHILE,
JUST GRAB YOUR HAT, COME TRAVEL LIGHT,
THAT'S HOBO STYLE.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANT TO SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, THE WHOLE WORLD IS MY HOME

SO IF YOU WANNA JOIN ME FOR A WHILE,
JUST GRAB YOUR HAT, COME TRAVEL LIGHT,
THAT'S HOBO STYLE.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANT TO SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON.

good luck!

I love that song. Gonna go find it on Youtube right now.
Wiffle Ball, VIDEO.

April 20, 2008 | 08:12 AM by Kyle Ligenza, MA

Tom, you say that in order for you to be convinced to come to a place you need video footage. I don't think short youtube videos do us complete justice, although I do have a few if you're going to reject my offer. There's a whole DVD of Wiffle Ball action. I can send you that DVD in the mail to help convince you to further come here to play with us. What do you think?

is there anything on Youtube that does it justice?

April 20, 2008 | 06:19 AM by Tyson, Alberta,Canada

WTF??

April 20, 2008 | 05:46 AM by Tyson, Alberta, Canada

I went to Paris in 2005 and took this picture in the bathroom of the room I was staying in. I still have no idea what that is used for. You must travel alot... what the hell is that thing by the toilet?

Wireless internet in your RV

April 20, 2008 | 04:02 AM by Bob Daniels, Austin, TX

I came across your website and wanted to show my support...especially since you really are pushing the limits of technology here (wireless communications is my field so to speak).

I am extremely curious to see how your wireless connection is going to work for you on the road. It appears you've chosen to use a 3G data network (HSPA through AT&T). Probably the only possibility since satellite feeds aren't going to cut it in terms of upload speed (without a costly news van type setup). Wireless mobile broadband is very new...I expect you will suffer through some growing pains, but I admire your pioneering spirit.

Be careful in those rural areas as not many of those cells offer 3G access. Outside of big metropolitan regions carriers sometimes only offer the older 2.5G EDGE/GPRS technology and that will decimate your data throughput. Good news is that, with the growth of the wireless industry, these problems will go away with time. Your timing is impeccable because I suspect this technology will enable all sorts of new media. Like everything else, getting in on the ground floor can yield amazing results.

I don't know why I'm telling you this, I'm sure you're aware of all of this. You probably have a pack of engineering consultants telling you exactly what to do. Anyhow, you have my admiration and support. Good Luck!

Thanks Bob. It's just me and a couple folks figuring this out. We will be able to broadcast anywhere we have a good cell signal. Which is lots of places! Cool! We will also be recording the feed for posting later. It will be recorded top quality, regardless of the cell service.
Memphis Still Wants TG

April 20, 2008 | 12:07 AM by amy, Hopefully not too far away, Tennessee

Thomas,

My wonderful friends and I went out today for Mexican food and bowling. Your name came up during the conversation (it was all good, all good) and I just wanted to reinterate how much we would love for you and your crew to come to Memphis. Victor, bring your sharp shoes along with that awesome box you set up. :) Is there no way that you can convince Anthony Seck to tag along? He's pretty kool. That's right. Cool with k.

Glad to see you are feeling better, Tom, and what a nice haircut/beard trim you've gotten, as well. See, we pay attention. ha.

The portable studio is sick! This is going to be exciting!

I saw in one of the e-mails that you're not sure if you're coming to New York... which just ups the challenge for us New York City people (or close to New York City people in my case) to work even harder at making extremely convincing videos to, well, convince you to head this way! haha

Idea for Tom's house

April 19, 2008 | 05:36 PM by Kane Minnich, Bowling Green Ohio

Well, depending on your budget, you can either get professional bands or up and coming bands. I think that you should have good rock and punk rock bands, some rap bands ( the good old school stuff), and a little bit of the other genres. As far as bands playing at your house you could have them play acoustically in your house, or it would be dope to have the bands play electrically out side by your hot tub or even on your roof. Some bands you could ask would be My Morning Jacket, Katy Perry, Against Me!, Nof-x, Priestess, Muse, The Fillers, Ryan's Hope, and Tenacious D would be Funny. Please e-mail me back with your thoughts.

hey
