Man.  What a night.  My good pal Mike Hickey and I went out last night and had a great time.  He is visiting Los Angeles for a few days, before kicking off his world tour with his band Daiquiri.  They will be touring with Neil Hamburger.  Everybody go see the show!  Here is some Paparazzi footage of us leaving the club.  I could post the video from my camera also, but frankly, it really isn't that interesting.  So I probably won't.  By the way.... Does anybody give a crap about this Octomom thing?  The woman who had the 8 babies....  I don't even understand why this is a news story anymore.  One day is enough.  This has been dragging on in the media, and it is really uninteresting.  Octomom?  Who cares right?  Right!?  Rock on gang!

Hey Gang!  I am spending the weekend relaxing and eating delicious breakfast every morning.  Why so much breakfast?  Well my parents have been visiting all week.  They are staying at the house, and mother is making breakfast every day.  Delicious.  Nothing beats a delicious breakfast of bacon and eggs with coffee and toast.  And a grapefruit.  And some yogurt.

It's nice to have the folks in town.  They live in Canada, so we don't get to spend as much time together as I would like.  So this is a fun week.  We went and had a delicious sushi lunch yesterday.  I like trying to get my mother to eat things like Uni (sea urchin), which is clearly not for everyone.  I love it.

I am always interested in my parents perspective on things.  My life has been pretty bizarre at times.  To move from Canada to Los Angeles, and to build a TV studio in my living room.  Okay, it's a bit weird.  But things have been much stranger at times.  My current state of affairs is relatively normal, compared to my jolting introduction to living in this country.  Believe it or not that was only 9 years ago.  I moved to Los Angeles in 2001.  I am trying to approach this "moving to los angeles" concept in a way where I don't completely lose my mind. 

When I first moved to Los Angeles, it was a pretty tricky transition.  Especially because I was in my twenties.  I don't think I quite understood how us human beings worked at that time.  We are a weird bunch.  Us human beings can be pretty strange.  I will spare you the gross specifics, but I can say that it takes a few years to understand how badly life can warp the human brain.  People can get really crazy.  Why else do you think we have war?  There is a lot more anger in the world than I once realized.  A constant battle between the positive and the negative.  I guess the point of this rambling rant?  Don't let the bastards get you down.

I can say that I am really looking forward to The Celebrity Apprentice airing next Sunday.  This is going to be a whole lot of fun gang.  The shows are going to be 2 hours long every Sunday night, and I want you all to watch!  I think you might see some of these crazy human traits displayed in this show.  After all, they are putting a bunch of weirdos in a room and filming them.  How can this not be interesting?  You are going to see many grown men and women yelling at each other like idiotic children.  The positive vs. negative outlook thing.  I'm not going to get into specifics, but I will say this.   I met some real jerks on this show.  I have to give it you straight.  Tune in and you will see.  Some of these celebrities can be real douche bags.  ;)  Of course, this only makes the show that much more entertaining.  Tune in to watch me and our friend Andrew Dice Clay in  the first episode, as we wade through the muck.  It's pretty damned hilarious.  Especially if you have already watched Dice and I on The Channel here.  Then you may know what everyone else on the program is in for.  Lots of laughs.  Good times.  Tune into the show.
